Malcolm Sladden
Malcolm is an Expert Automotive Engineer Assessor with over 12 years experience whilst employed by Banwells. He is highly experienced in the assessment of the consistency of damage to vehicles and the investigation of reported accidents.Prior to joining Banwells, he was employed as an Accident Investigator at Loughborough University concerned with determining the causes of injury to vehicle occupants.
He was also appointed by Churchill Insurance as a Staff Motor Engineer, spending a further 5 years in this role.
He is often required to provide witness evidence in court as an expert.
His qualifications include a City & Guilds Full Technological Certificate in Automotive Engineering and a Stevenson College Diploma in Automotive Engineering Management.
Malcolm is a member of the Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors and also has full membership of the Institute of the Motor Industry, the Institute of Road Transport Engineers and the Society of Operations Engineers.
He has completed the Park Lodge International Advanced Fire Investigation Course.
