Michael Morris
Michael Morris is an Expert Automotive Engineer Assessor who for 24 years owned and operated H W Bell and Co Ltd, employing a team of Assessors and Consulting Engineers.Prior to becoming an Independent Motor Engineer Assessor, he initially worked in engineering, manufacturing precision parts for the aircraft industry. Michael then spent 14 years carrying out all types of vehicle repairs as a partner in a Peugeot approved body shop.
During his years as an Automotive Engineer Assessor, Michael has gained a wide knowledge of the construction and repair of agricultural and commercial vehicles, including refrigerated vehicles and trailers, through managing the repair of vehicles for nationwide operators.
As a keen equestrian, Michael also has a comprehensive knowledge of the construction and repair of horseboxes and trailers.
Michael has wide experience in the assessment of the consistency of damage to vehicles, and the investigation of reported accidents.
He is highly experienced as an Independent Expert, providing witness evidence in court. Michael is a Member of the Expert Witness Institute and is registered with the Law Society as an Expert Witness. He is also a Member of the Institute of the Motor Industry, Member of The Federation of International Experts in Automobiles and an Associate Member of the Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors.
