The engineers and vehicle assessors use their wealth of knowledge gained through many years of experience in the motor industry to provide independent, clear and concise reports on the safe method of repair of damaged vehicles.
All vehicles are thoroughly examined to establish an accurate repair reserve and the vehicle’s pre-accident value.
Thatcham Escribe, Audatex and Glassmatix estimating systems are available to all of our Automotive Engineer assessors to assist them in the calculation and negotiation of repair costs.
Glass’s Evaluator, CAP Guide and Parkers Guide are utilised to determine vehicle values in conjunction with market research.
In-house Image Engineers & Imaging Services
The Banwells office based Automotive Engineer Assessors are equipped to receive images of damaged vehicles and repairer’s estimates using the latest technology including the Audatex and Glassmatix estimating systems. The estimates are interrogated thoroughly and repair costs can be authorised in accordance with the principle’s requirements and agreed rates.
We have a developed a method of identifying suspect claims during the imaging process. We work closely with our clients FNOL (First Notification Of Loss) departments to create a procedure where the correct claims are passed through the correct channels. Our imaging teams are able to use the Audatex/Glassmatix images to identify suspect damage, consider it against the reported circumstances and if necessary remove that claim from the standard claims process for further investigation and validation.
This innovative process captures a large number of claims at the earliest opportunity. In addition it facilitates genuine claims being dealt with quickly and pro-actively.
Total Loss Claims
In-house vehicle assessors and field engineers are also available to agree settlement figures where vehicles are a total loss and arrange prompt salvage uplift and disposal if required.
